Day of Caring

"Volunteers don't necessarily have the time, they just have the heart" - Elizabeth Andrews

WHAT IS DAY OF CARING?

Day of Caring is a mobilization of volunteers to celebrate the spirit of giving and the value of volunteerism. By performing meaningful service in Southwest Louisiana, YOU have the opportunity to make a positive impact and improve the lives of your neighbors!

Each year, United Way of Southwest Louisiana hosts Days of Caring for various service projects. In 2017, we will host both the Literacy Day of Caring and our annual United Against Child Hunger Day of Caring. Click the links below to learn more!
