Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Award from Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness

United Way of Southwest Louisiana was awarded the 2022 Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Award from the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness for their leadership following the pandemic, Hurricane Laura, Hurricane Delta and Winter Storm Uri, all federally declared natural disasters that devastated this gulf coast region in one year.
